At the back of all Aclam’s guitars there’s a double-frame designed phisically and electronically to “accept” two different pickup bespoke cartridges. There’s an audio grade gold plated terminal on the cartridge and on the double-frame on the guitar; so the pickup will work when it’s locked in place.

Two fingers are all you need to change your guitar pickups with AECPUS.
Twist left to get the pickup out, slip a new one in and twist right to lock it in place.

Our cartridges are pre-installed in our workshop using a huge selection of well known and trusted pickup manufacturer brands: Burns, Dearmond, Dimarzio, EMG, Gretsch, Kent Armstrong, Kinman, Lace Sensor, Lindy Fralin, Lollar, Seymour Duncan…

You will be able to switch series/parallel/single any double coil pickup thanks to Aclam’s switching circuit*

*Some humbucker pickups are not factory wired with 4 conductor cable and should be modified prior to be installed in our cartridges

All pickup cartridges are pre-installed by Xavi in our workshop in Barcelona. He builds and tests them all with care and passion. Each pickup is manually installed on a stainless steel plate and connected to a custom PCB. Such PCB has both soldering pads and a 6 pin connector for a faster assembly. To finish, he assembles it with the plastic injected parts of the cartridge.

We can assemble custom cartridges on demand: any pickup, any brand, even active, used or vintage pickups!

Technical information

Each pickup can be completely height adjusted to the desired distance between pickup and strings. Pickup tilt is also adjustable.

At the back of the pickup there are three holes that give you access to the adjusting screws.
The tool for these adjustments is included with your guitar.
