The Senn Model One was developed at the request of guitar builder Jeff Senn, who wanted a pickup that offered the tone of a vintage Guyatone single-coil gold foil pickup. Though Senn Model One is a humbucker, it has the clarity and chime of a single-coil, with a very, very clear and open tone and plenty of sustain and overtones.
